Many hours we had to wait for Apple to update its store and show us what new products you will offer. More than one will have left the CTRL + R or F5 on your keyboard spent. But we have them here, and start with the new iMac models.

A quick summary of all his benefits: faster processor, illuminated by LEDs and display in 16:9 widescreen and wireless keyboard and mouse, the latter the new Magic Mouse. What what is it? In a later entry I explain elsewhere, but here we focus on the iMac, Apple rolled into one.

There are two versions that will be offered from this computer, at least if you look at the screen size: 21.5 inches or 27 inches. The first gives a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, but the 27 goes to an incredible 2560 × 1440 pixels.

The LED lighting allows the computer does not grow thick, using an all-aluminum casing. Additionally, the display uses IPS technology, which allows a viewing angle of 178 degrees, meaning that the colors we see perfectly well from either side. In paragraph processor we are now facing a significant increase in speed by using i5 Core and Core i7, which allow up to four cores in our computer. With Snow Leopard sure this is used more.

According to Apple, these processors offer an increase of 2.4 times the power compared to previous generation iMac. Graphics cards offered by them are the Nvidia GeForce 9400M or ATI Radeon HD 4670 in the 21-inch model, while the 27 is also offered with the ATI Radeon HD 4850.

As standard, the iMac comes with 4 GB of RAM in four slots, allowing them to incorporate up to 16 GB in total. Capacity, you can choose hard disks up to 2TB. Next to the keyboard and the Magic Mouse, it seems that Apple has invested extensively by the SD cards for their computers, for after adding to the MacBook Pro also has built-in iMac with a slot to read and write to them. We forget, therefore, Blu-ray.

The default settings offered by Apple’s new iMac are:

21.5 inches, Core 2 Duo 3.06 GHz, 1,920 × 1,080 pixels resolution, 4GB memory, 500GB hard drive, double-layer SuperDrive 8x, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M Graphics: 1049 euros

21.5 in, Intel Core 2 Duo 3.06 GHz, 1,920 × 1,080 pixels resolution, 4GB of memory, 1TB hard drive, SuperDrive 8x double-layer, Graphics ATI Radeon HD 4670 with 256 MB : 1299 euros

27 “Intel Core 2 Duo 3.06 GHz, 2,560 × 1,440 pixels resolution, 4GB memory, 1TB hard drive, SuperDrive 8x double-layer, Graphics ATI Radeon HD 4670 with 256 MB: 1449 EUR

27-inch, Core i5 2.66GHz Intel, 2,560 × 1,440 pixels resolution, 4GB memory, 1TB hard drive, SuperDrive 8x double-layer, Graphics ATI Radeon HD 4850 with 512MB: 1749 euros

It is in the street on their own creators have dubbed “the most advanced operating system in the world”. This is, of course, Mac OS X Snow Leopard, the latest software update from Apple that teacher has gone on sale on 28 August at a price of 29 euros if you already have version 10.5.

While Leopard is, to date, and for many the best operating system designed Apple, Snow Leopard version, which corresponds to the number 10.6, not so much a new operating system as a set of improvements over the old Leopard. Let’s see which are most important …

All the heart of Snow Leopard has been reconfigured to take advantage of the 64-bit depth of recent Apple computers. The result is noticeable in the performance of applications that are part of the system as iCal, iChat, Mail and Safari, that with the new snow leopard will run much faster. The browser and mail program, in fact, work up to 50% faster without falling.

The definitive leap to 64 bits also makes the Apple browser, known as a finder, more fluid in their searches. Nevertheless, the system remains compatible with 32-bit architectures.

More in less space

The new Snow Leopard takes up half the previous version and a savings of 7 GB hard disk after installation. El sistema requiere de 1 GB de RAM para funcionar y es compatible con todos los equipos Apple con procesador Intel.

For Developers

Many improvements of Snow Leopard does not see naked eye because they are designed to make life easier for developers. The system, for example, Grand Central Dispatch allows programmers to better exploit the dual core processors. OpenCL same applies to a system that allows certain operations of calculation load on the graphics card, freeing the processor and accelerate work performance.

Applications retouched

Yes, the end user will see changes in programs like QuickTime, which has been completely remodeled or Exposé, which is now integrated in the Dock. The new system has also won support for Exchange email platform, used by many companies.

With the introduction of the new MacBook Pro, with sizes starting at 13 inches, many thought that the MacBook would be forgotten, at least in its plastic, or that Apple was preparing some sort of ultraportable or tablet PCs have this designation.

But rumors are that Apple plans with these devices could be quite different and they have no intention of abandoning. If true, say the 13-inch notebook is undergoing a remodeling design, which will make them lighter and thinner.

Could this mean a reduction in prices of this range? Currently, the white plastic MacBook costs 900 euros and I personally believe that there is scope for a reduction that could leave between 750 and 800 euros, which would increase sales.

Of course, all that would remain for the presentation of the rumored Apple tablet, which could range between 500 and 700 euros, and to complement the entire price spectrum. In September we really juicy news from Cupertino.

New Macbook rumors of a touchscreen that allegedly could be purchased in September. In particular the product Apple Macbook Touch would be known and may be the long-awaited Apple tablet which is half in world sailing.

The new Macbook Touch would be a hybrid between a NETBOOK, a tablet and an iPod Touch, but with some truly interesting dimensions. So let’s go to see the supposed features of Apple’s Macbook Touch:

According to the Journal du geek, who has launched the rumor, the new Macbook Touch multitáctil come with a screen of 9.7 inches. The hardware such as CDs is disappearing gradually giving way to online downloads, so the Macbook Touch not equipped optical drive, but will come with two USB ports, plus a slot for SD cards. As we understand that Apple wants to further its APP Store, with applications for Macbook Touch.

According to rumors, Apple will introduce this product in September next to the new Snow Leopard, coming in two versions:

Macbook Touch 80GB Price: 800 euros
Macbook Touch 120GB Price: 950 euros

I have read many rumors about an Apple tablet in the time it takes in this world, but they come and I am much more than the rest of them. Would you be willing to buy at these prices Macbook Touch?
