If the TVs with LED technology and have long been exploiting the potential of this technology in terms of thickness of the product, contrast-enhanced or reduced consumption in operation, the host computer monitors LED panels en masse this year.

The new LG V series will be one of those that already offer this possibility. The result is obvious: Benq V2220 monitor with a size of 21.5 inches and is postulated as the thinnest in its category. But its importance does not end there. Dynamic Contrast this equipment increases to 10.000.000:1.

Benq V2220 model and 21.5 inches will not only market. Models will be followed with 18.5, 23 and 24 inches, all with the 10.000.000:1 dynamic contrast, HDMI port, response time of 5 ms and resolution of 1920 × 1080.

All models come with DVI, VGA and HDMI, which would allow us to have up to three sources connected to time. All teams, so climbing will be available worldwide, but prices are still unknown.

If the LED technology is beginning to become increasingly visible on TV sets, computer monitors could not stay back, and there are several manufacturers offering models that feature. The BenQ V2400 Eco and BenQ V2200 Eco are two examples.

According to the manufacturer, the latter is the first LED-lit display with a size of 21.5 inches and FullHD resolution. The V2400 gets bigger at 24 inches, keeping the same resolution. Both offer a contrast ratio of 5.000.000:1 include Senseye 3 Human Vision Technology that improves image quality.

The name Eco including intuition gives one of his qualities, which is none other than reducing consumption compared to traditional monitors lit with fluorescent tubes. It is curious, therefore, the design of the medium, which is not centered in front of the screen and it has a hole where we can leave things (although I think more than anything will accumulate dirt).

Offered for sale in UK from October, where the BenQ V2200 Eco cost just over 190 euros to change and the BenQ V2400 Eco unso cost 225 euros.

The manufacturer of screens and projectors Taiwanese BenQ knows it and so its new E Series monitors offer this benefit. E2220HD are called and E2420HD and offer similar services in two different screen sizes. While the E2220HD has a diagonal of 22 inches, the E2420HD is somewhat higher with its 24 inches.

In addition, the features offered by the client are similar. To begin with, are FullHD monitors, ie high definition with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. The format required for almost 16:9 BenQ monitors that show in its E Series are designed with a dynamic contrast of 50.000:1. We have already said on other occasions that the dynamic contrast is a feature unreliable. And the contrast is that the actual measured against white black white black but we can get the same image, the measured dynamic contrast white and black over white over black that can be displayed on the TV but not being able to do so in the same image. In the end the real copntraste of these monitors is a low 1.000:1. This low rate is offset by an intelligent sensor that calibrates contrast, brightness and color depending on the environment.

The response time of each monitor also differs significantly. This has to do with the fact that using two different panel. The fact is that the E2220HD answered in five milliseconds and his older brother, the E2422oHD makes two in just milliseconds.

In terms of connections to ports, the configuration proposed for E2220HD and E2420HD BenQ is not bad. The two HDMI inputs is to add four USB ports and three audio jacks, plus a DVI and D-Sub VGA for a classic. These screens will be launched this August. Still no price set.
